When the sun is shining and the birds are chirping through the Brilon-Wald valley, there is hardly a better place for enjoyment than our outdoor dining area in the Herzstück restaurant the heart of the Schlosshotel Brilon-Wald. Our terrace offers space for unforgettable moments of pleasure – the perfect place for global soul food in the open air.
Whether it’s breakfast in the open air, homemade cake in the afternoon or a convivial evening with a wine or cocktail: our outdoor dining is as varied as our guests. Part of the terrace is covered – ideal for those who prefer a little more shade and protection. In summer, the natural canopy of leaves provides a pleasant coolness and an almost Mediterranean atmosphere.
Please note in summer: When making your online reservation, you can indicate whether you would like to sit outside. We will do our best to provide you with your preferred spot in the sun or shade – always depending on the weather and current occupancy.

Our cuisine is modern, seasonal and cosmopolitan – we call it Global Soul Food.
We combine regional ingredients from the Sauerland with inspirations from Asia, Italy, the Middle East and street food culture. Many of our dishes are vegetarian or veganMeat is only served when it makes sense – in the best quality and with respect for the environment.
